Sandra Szkolnik
Peruvian artist born in 1968. She studied graphic design at the Toulouse Lautrec Institute in Lima
and specialized in digital design at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. Her work
applies notions of geometric developments and folded structures using different types of materials. She
conveys volume through the manipulation of polygons that generate contrasts between the firm and
the flexible, thus creating sculptures characterized by their infinite versatility. She has participated in
individual, collective and charity exhibitions, both in Peru and in the United States, where she
currently reside.
